BEHANN Update September 2026 – Ben’s Blog changes, plus, site update.

BEHANN was launched in 2023, a website dedicated to the life of Ben and Hannah, which, of course, is how the term BEHANN came about; Ben + Hannah = BEHANN.

It’s fair to say over the years since launch, this website has been rather quiet, in terms of content, essentially becoming a website for Ben’s Blog and occasional social media embeds. Going forward, however, that will be changing and this website will offer a lot more from both Ben and Hannah. But, that’s something we’ll get to later. First, there are some changes coming to Ben’s Blog which will now be highlighted.

Changes to Ben’s Blog, going forward

By Ben

To clarify, everything stated below will not change the frequency, content, or, anything else contained within Ben’s Blogs, what is changing is changing aspects of over-sharing; how far things will be said, and, to show more respect. Feedback has been given, and, quite honestly, I agree with it.

Ever since I started doing a blog back in 2008, I’ve always tried to make sure it was open, honest and truthful. I’ve also done my best to make sure that nothing is hidden. The moment I feel I need to censor what I post, there’s basically no point in doing it. I stand by that view today, and, I always will.

However, this was back in the days of RKUK Media. Back then, my blog was, whilst, still my personal blog, a lot more indicative of just general here’s what’s up, with no real consequences for anything I said. That is, of course, until there was. I stopped doing the blog in 2012, mostly, as my girlfriend, at the time, Claire, was absolutely insane. If I were to post anything about how life was going from that moment forward, it certainly wasn’t going to be positive. There’s only so many ways you can lie.

To be clear, that is not what’s changing here between me and Hannah. My blogs now, and, going forward, will remain honest, truthful and contain all main aspects of our lives in the duration they cover. That will never change, otherwise, again, what’s the point?

A tendency to say, a bit, too much

The whole idea behind BEHANN has always been; “it’s all about me and Hannah”, the everything, our lives, and, adventures. For the most part, this has worked very well. We’ve shared some of the biggest moments of our entire lives through BEHANN, from, our Engagement to our big Wedding day, and more. And, I think it’s fair to say, I’ve always been honest along the way.

For example, I did not have the best Wedding day, and so, was clear as to why. It would have been easy to post about our Wedding and choose to only state everything that went well, everything that was good, and give this impression that everything was perfect. I just can’t do that. It’s not true, it would be a complete fabrication and I’d be lying. Unless, of course, everything did go perfectly. But, without it being clear that I’m honest elsewhere, you’re never likely to believe anything positive going forward. But, that’s not what this is about.

I recently posted, and, by recent, I mean, literally this week, a blog titled “Nothing to Something“. By the time you click on it, it will be either hidden, if you’re very eager, or, updated with changes that will soon be highlighted. The post covered, honestly, a ton of things, which I even pointed out at the time would probably make it a blog worth skipping, due to it mostly being boring life stuff, less of, we’ve been here, done that, etc. Sections including;

  • Changes in career progression
  • Couple of night outs with former colleagues
  • The break in-between
  • “Not the best of time’s together”
  • Studio Ghibli Café in York
  • A failed attempt to get Philippine-style Lechon
  • Me and Hannah’s future

Of course, where the troubles lie is in bold. In every relationship comes arguments and disagreements along the way. Think we can all agree on that. However, the devil is in the details. I’m so used to posting blogs about me and Hannah very proudly and openly about every aspect of our lives. This can, however, in a situation like that, lead to a bit too much honesty and openness.

I find when I’m writing my blog, as is the case with this today, I do just rant, so, details sneak in along the way. In that moment I was covering, I was frustrated, I was unhappy, but as a result of this I explained too much and caused upset. I have already apologised to my beautiful Wife, and, moving forward, this will not happen again. The post has been updated, and once you’re able to read it again, the details that are inappropriate for public view, will be removed.

The section isn’t going, I’m not going to hide that we’ve had a difficult year together, however, what is changing (or, already by the time you read it), is the details; private actions or things any of us did that should always remain exclusively between me and Hannah. Perfectly understandable.

I still feel if we have a blog, issues along the way are fair to discuss and highlight, whether these are issues caused, or, by, either of us. The difference is in the detail, how this is approached and explained. So, whilst my concerns about our relationship will remain in this post, details such as what was done behind closed doors during conflicts will, in this case be removed, and, going forward, not be included and remain vague. Hinted, rather than specified, you could say.

The good news, at least for Hannah, is that no one actually viewed the blog with those original parts included. I can very easily see who views from which Country and unique visitors, for example, and this was, by the point of locking it today only viewed 5 times by me and Hannah cumulatively. So, this may seem pointless to write, as no one is aware of what was said before, but, that really is the point. No one else should be. Ironically, it’s rare for Hannah to read my blogs as early as she did, this time, but, I feel the need to just make this post to highlight that such issues she’s had are being considered, and, won’t be an issue going forward.

So, is this a case of, she told you to do this, so, that’s the only reason you are??

Well, yes and no. Yes, because Hannah brought this to my attention. And, also, no, because I actually agree with the points made. I looked into the blog itself, specifically the area of concern, and, I had gone too far in detail. Obviously, it’s worth pointing out, I’ve overshared about negative things about myself, too, this isn’t a one-sided thing. I’m sure that would be allowed to continue 😅.

But, genuinely, a balance has been made to allow blogs going forward to continue being open, honest and truthful, but, also whilst maintaining a sense of privacy and respect to our relationship; the most important thing to me. Plus, as the part I didn’t remove states correctly, we’ve so much coming soon in our lives that I cannot wait to share and talk about once they become real.

That blog will return to BEHANN later today, as I am posting this, on 5th September 2026, no later than 5pm UK time.

Has it being updated yet:

Other updates to BEHANN; we’re doing more stuff.

As mentioned earlier, BEHANN was launched as a website dedicated to the life of Ben and Hannah, however, despite this, it has just become a home for Ben’s Blog and… well, that’s about it minus some Archive stuff and showing some things from Instagram.

That would explain why the views to BEHANN are so low, even if that was beneficial to the issues reported before. But, it does beg the question, what is there even to come here for? Well, let’s change that. So, going forward, there’s going to be a lot more stuff being posted on here. Both, individually, and, both together. New sections with a more personal feel to them, some returning in the case of Ben, and some new. Then, when it comes to Hannah, it would be great to see a whole heap of new highlights added, and, hopefully, new things there too. These are highlighted below;

At the moment, Ben provides the majority, if not all, the content around the BEHANN website. Ben’s Blog is the biggest thing here, and what’s left after that is just shares from elsewhere. Well, no longer. Here’s just some of the things coming from Ben to BEHANN.

As you may have already noticed, quite a few more sections have become available from the Ben section of BEHANN. Here’s everything new coming from Ben to BEHANN.

One of the first big things to come to BEHANN, from Ben, is, of course, Ben’s Music Reviews. This has, in fact, already launched with a review currently present of the new album by Jonathan Bree. You can check out Ben’s Music Reviews right here.

Ben Plays is a whole new section coming to BEHANN from Ben. As you can probably gather from the title and the logo, this is a Let’s Play section and Gaming section of the BEHANN website. For now, plans are just that, plans, but the hope is, going forward, to play some Games and enjoy a ton more content. Watch this space.

So, what about Hannah? Well, on BEHANN at the moment, Hannah has her own personal Instagram and TikTok shared on the BEHANN website, but, that’s about it. Unfortunately, this remains the case, so far. However, there are some changes in how content will be displayed on BEHANN to make it more active moving forward, and, in terms of our other social channels, in the following ways.

Hannah exclusively managed the BEHANN Instagram page. You may have already noticed a more active environment over there, which is something that is aimed to continue to be the case moving forward. The way this page is interacted with, and, included on, the BEHANN website is also something we’re going to be improving going forward.

Continuing the social trend from Instagram, one big change that is coming to BEHANN will be the ability to enjoy most, if, not, all of, our social content directly through the BEHANN website itself. Whether this be through Galleries, more embeds if we have to, to new content here moving forward.

Well, that’s it for now. Announcements are new to BEHANN, but, going forward, we will keep you updated on any changes made to the BEHANN website going forward, and, in this case, any personal changes, apologies, to positive news where we see fit, that wouldn’t be right to put in a blog itself, or, otherwise.
